As COVID-19 continues to spread around the world and within the UK, we have a responsibility to our staff, our clients and the general public to take this issue seriously, and ask our clients that they do the same.
This is an update to our previous announcement, 9 March 2020, to reflect changes in UK government advice.
We are encouraging all employees to work remotely and closing our office to all but essential visits. This will include restricting all but critical domestic travel and onsite visits.
When considering whether on-site visits are necessary, we will explore using alternatives such as online meetings, remote access and offsite servicing of equipment by our engineers.
If a site-visit is deemed critical, we are asking our clients to read and confirm the following in advance of the visit:
That your business or workplace is following the Government Guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus (COVID-19)
That your team members are following the advice for self-isolation, if they or anyone they live with is showing any symptoms: Government Stay at home: guidance for households with possible coronavirus (COVID-19) infection
– last updated 18th March 2020 – All data is from the current UK government guidelines.
There is always a balance between not wanting to contribute to any panic or worry, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees. Please work with us by being open and honest about any of the above, so we can discuss our options to support you.
When our staff visit premises they will forgo shaking hands, and thoroughly wash their hands immediately on arrival, and before they leave.
Ultimately, we can help you much more if we’re all healthy!
Best wishes
Adrian & Gavin
