Microsoft Word has a built-in dictation feature, allowing you to talk instead of type.
The web version will also transcribe audio files.
The ‘Home’ tab has a ‘Dictate’ button over on the right-hand side:
If you have your microphone set-up (if you can use video conferencing software, then it is), simply click it, and start talking.
The online version of Word also has a ‘transcribe’ feature, which allows you to upload pre-recorded audio files and it will convert them to text.
Results seem to vary depending on accent, quality of recording etc., but give it a try.
