In virtually all web browsers, using [Ctrl] + L on your keyboard will highlight the address bar, enabling you to quickly search or type in a website address without having to reach for your mouse.
You don’t need to visit Google (other search engines are available) to search. Instead, just type in whatever you want to search for and press ‘return’ on your keyboard. Or type in the address of the website you want to visit if you alread know it. If you spend a lot time browsing the web you’ll find this time-saving trick invaluable.
